Mazot Street
The name Mazot roughly translates to a small rustic stone farmhouse, commonly comprising a bedroom, kitchen and pantry. Serving as a pied-a-terre for Valais mountaineers during their stay in the vineyards. This relates closely to the people of Stellenbosch living amongst the vineyards and all the surrounding farms in the Cape winelands. When drinking coffee, it should take your mind away from the daily hustle and bustle reminding you of the simplicity of a farmhouse in the vineyards, with a beautiful sun rising on the horizon and a lovely cup of perfectly roasted Mazot Street brew.
